Tropes:
- Epic Fail: Because Cure Melody and Cure Rhythm can't stop bickering, they end up losing the battle and stuck upside down in a tree.
- Iris Out: When Kanade shakes Hummy's paw, the screen irises in on the hand/paw.
- Magic Skirt: Cure Melody and Cure Rhythm get flipped upside down, but their skirts stay perfectly in place. When they turn back into their civilian forms, their uniform skirts stay in place as well.
- Ocular Gushers: Trio de Minor all get these when reporting fruitlessly to Mephisto.
- Stood Up: Hibiki and Kanade's bad blood started on their first day of middle school. They agreed to meet each other at the gates to enter together, but Kanade never showed up, and Hibiki later found her inside with her other friends instead.
- Wide Eyes and Shrunken Irises: Kanade gets these when first shaking Hummy's paw, revealing her love of cat paws.
- Waldorf: Well, that first fight didn't go so well.
Statler: You'd think they'd be experts; they bicker more than we do!
