Tropes:
- As Herself: Of a sort. Dr. Erin McDonald voices Starfleet teacher Dr. Erin McDonald, who gives a course on temporal mechanics in a style reminiscent of her Youtube chanel.
- Brick Joke: Dal finally takes the time to follow the "Temporal Mechanics 101" course. After that, he's very quick to point out to anybody puzzled by time travel that the answers are in that course.
- Continuity Nod: The temporal mechanics course references the slingshot manoeuvre as a way to travel through time, which is apparently now banned because of Q.
- Percussive Maintenance: Frustrated that the Infinity does not start, Jankom Pog turns his mechanical hand into a hammer and slams it on the console. This is apparently what the ship needed to start, to Jankom's delight.
- Ship Tease: Maj'El tells Zero they are the most logical member of their team. Zero seems quite flustered as they begin to return the compliment before being interrupted by somebody else.
