When Hulk is hit by Doc Ock's Obey Ray which makes him completely obedient towards her, Team Spidey must stop him from helping her and find a way to free him from the ray's effects.
Tropes:
- Brainwashed and Crazy: Under the effects of the Obey Ray, Hulk is completely obedient towards Doc Ock.
- "I Know You're in There Somewhere" Fight: Since there in no reverse switch and destroying the Obey Ray does not free Hulk from the Obey Ray's effects, Team Spidey reminds Hulk of who he is, helping him snap out of the trance.
- Mind-Control Eyes: While under the effects of the Obey Ray, Hulk's eyes are purple instead of their usual colour.
- Oh, Crap!: Team Spidey has one after Doc Ock reveals that the effects of her Obey Ray are permanent.
- Unwitting Pawn: After getting zapped by the Obey Ray, Hulk become obedient towards Doc Ock and does everything she says.
