Norman: What do you know? You think I don't care about Harry? The fact is I do, but my work was all consuming. I was always away. Do you know what that's like? Missing his birthday parties, his baseball games. Never being there when he was sick and needed me. But none of it meant I didn't care about him! It was just a matter of making choices. Maybe I made the wrong ones.
  • Deadly Dodging: Unable to out-maneuver the Hobgoblin's wing, Spider-Man gets to the top of an exhaust port and waits for him to fly in close. At the last second, Spider-Man jumps into the port, causing a nasty impact. Hobgoblin is left spiraling out of control into the nearby river.
  • Dramatic Irony: At the end of episode Aunt May commends Peter for saving Wilson Fisk's life, saying that Uncle Ben would be proud of him and he did the right thing, with neither of them knowing that Fisk is a ruthless crime lord or that he is an unknown enemy who wants Spider-Man dead.

    • After retaking Crime Central, the Kingpin wants Spider-Man eliminated, Norman's son be damned.
