SAMCRO finally arrives in Ireland, but not everyone in SAMBEL is happy to see them. Jimmy O attempts to stop them from reaching Father Kellan and allying with him. Meanwhile in Charming, Jacob Hale enlists the recently disgraced Salazar's help in his mayoral bid.
- Cool Old Guy: Lumpy doesn't flinch when Darby threatens him, instead calmly telling him that he's not going anywhere.
- Dirty Coward: Shepard, one of the new prospects, hides from the view and runs away from Lumpy's gym scared after Salazar shoots it up and sends his message to Lumpy, leaving his kutte and gun at Teller-Morrow.
- Dirty Cop: Jimmy O hired a squad of Irish police officers to stop SAMCRO and bring them back to California. Fortunately, this doesn't work out for them.

- Hale bails Salazar out of jail to make him his new man on the streets after Darby's exit, appealing to his hatred of the Sons.
- Father Kellan offers Jax a chance to kill Jimmy and save Abel.
- Gangland Drive-By: Chibs and his family get attacked by unknown assailants that McGee and O'Neill insist are Ulster radicals trying to pressure Jimmy and SAMBEL.
- Good Girls Avoid Abortion: Lyla asks Tara to direct her to an abortion clinic, claiming that's going to hinder her career and that Opie can't to let go of Donna yet. Tara contemplates going through the abortion herself.
- Female Gaze: Trinity can't help but admire Jax's physique during his bare knuckle fight with O'Neill, unaware that he is her half-brother.
- Noodle Incident: Whatever happened between Tig and Kozik eight years ago that had "at least one vagina involved" caused their relationship to deteriorate.
- Variations on a Theme Song: The show's title theme is given a distinctly Irish flavor in this episode, with tin whistles and guitars.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Darby refuses to be Hale's patsy anymore after being forced to threaten Lumpy and not going through with it.
- Shame If Something Happened: Jax and Clay threaten a crooked cop after learning his address and promise to ruin his life.
