Korvo is annoyed at Terry's laziness. He uses time travel to try and fix his flaws. It seems to go well, but Korvo keeps asking if he's going too far. Terry soon provides the answer to that— violently.
Yumyulack gets annoyed at how no one at school respects him. He wasn't even trying to cause trouble. After a talk with Jesse, and realizing there is a special power called Big Dick Energy, he decides to use it for himself.
Tropes:
- Disproportionate Retribution: Yumyulack gets two weeks of detention from Principal Cooke just because he decorated his locker with a poster of Sigourney Weaver, right after Yumyulack was bullied and beaten up by other students for it.
- Even the Guys Want Him: Yumyulack, after getting fed up with being bullied at school due to his genitalia, decides to implant a large penis into himself to impress people. This has a huge effect on all the students in the school, including the boys.
- For Want Of A Nail: One too many letters sent to the past causes Terry to snap and murder his family. (Pupa may have gotten out of Dodge since he was offscreen for the whole episode.) He then meets a woman that tames his murderous ways, grows old with her, and she dies. She also saved Korvo's last letter, advising Terry to be himself. Terry, overcome with remorse and longing, uses time travel to erase himself.
- Literal Metaphor: Big Dick Energy (BDE) isn't just about being confident. It literally makes your dick glow and radiates energy that makes people do whatever you want. Just ask Yumyulack. And Idris Elba.
- Phlebotinum Overload: Giving himself two penises caused Yumlulack to have so much BDE that he destroyed New York.
- This Is Reality: Reluctantly deciding to give Jesse's advice a try, Yumyulack goes to a gym and asks the bodybuilders there if a routine to bulk him up will give him confidence. They tell him it's not like that; confidence has to come from the inside. Having muscles alone won't cause others to respect you.
- Yank the Dog's Chain: This happened to Jesse and Yumyulack in the bad timeline. Jesse saved Yumyulack from dying by bringing the real Sigourney Weaver to calm him down and counteract his BDE, causing him to decide he will emulate her and give no more fucks. Then they come home, see Terry burying a body in the yard, and he murders them. Fortunately, this is erased in the prime timeline.
