Rock, Paper, Scissors♪ It's Cure Peace!! (known as We Want Peace! Glitter Peace! in the Glitter Force version) is the third episode of Smile Pretty Cure!, and the 392nd episode overall in the Pretty Cure franchise.
During an art contest, Yayoi awakens as the third Pretty Cure.
Tropes:
- Cultural Translation: Akane's okonomiyaki is described as "Japanese pizza" in the Glitter Force dub.
- Excited Title! Two-Part Episode Name!: A rare example where one is present in the dub, but not the original.
- Lighter and Softer: Episode 3 of the previous season showed that Hibiki has been told by her Jerkass father as a child that she was a terrible musician, and had to be shown that she shouldn't hate music over it. Comparitively, the worst thing that happens to Yayoi in this episode is that her artwork gets scrunched up.
- Kick the Dog: The villains make Yayoi's bad day worse by scrunching up her drawings.
- One-Steve Limit: While Yayoi's civilian name is unique, Cure Peace is one letter off from Cure Peach.
- Shock and Awe: This is the first appearance of Cure Peace, who has lightning powers.
