After being taken captive by the Vigilante Registration Agency, Clark, Lois, Oliver, and Dinah are released, but they soon find that not everything is as it seems.

- What Happened to the Mouse?: Tess and Emil were last seen in the basement of the Daily Planet in the previous episode, being rescued from Trotter's goons by Clark. There is not a single mention as to where they are during the events of this episode, nor what they were doing during the extended amount of time in which their entire team was missing. Tess is briefly referred to in the context of her Watchtower duties at the end of the episode, but there still isn't an explanation as to where exactly she was when everything else was going on.
