When Jimmy snaps a picture of Clark saving Lois from an oncoming car, makes out a red-and-blue blur on the photo and begins piecing together Clark's double life, Clark panics and turns to Chloe for help.

- Dating Catwoman: Subverted. Lois starts going out with Sebastian, but when he reads her mind, he finds out she knows he's been to Black Creek and is investigating him.
- Deducing the Secret Identity: Clark deploying Super-Speed to rescue Lois from a mugger, but while doing so, he is captured on a blurry photograph by Jimmy Olsen. Jimmy researches the details of the hero's rescue work from the past several years and quickly figures out who the hero really is. Clark has to set up an impostor rescue situation that persuades Jimmy he's wrong. In the season finale, however, events spiral out of control, and Clark apologizes to Jimmy for deceiving him earlier. Jimmy bears no ill will towards Clark and promises to keep his secret.
