Severance is a science-fiction psychological thriller about the employees of Lumon Industries, a MegaCorp that has developed a medical procedure known as "severance" that allows its workers to separate their work memories from the rest of their identity. Both the inside and outside versions of Mark, a 'macrodata refiner' at Lumon, begin to uncover a broad conspiracy about the severance technology and Lumon's leadership. Season 1 ran on Apple TV+ in 2022, and a second season has been greenlit.
