“Ronnie” was an episode that was ultimately rejected but still exists in a more static format. The creators remind the viewers that there's usually a good reason deleted scenes were deleted.
Murphy is wondering where everyone is when a mysterious blond man shows up. Murphy thinks he's here to get bug spray for the flies. The man is angry that Murphy doesn't remember him. He asks if this flashback jogs his memory.
In the flashback, Murphy is sitting at an abandoned crossroads playing blues guitar. The man comes up to compliment his guitar playing. Murphy reveals his ambition to become famous. The man reveals himself to be the devil, come to make a Deal with the Devil with Murphy. Murphy is distracted by the devil's goat legs, saying if he's the devil he should do something about those legs.
Josef Stalin then pulls up with Hitler in tow, addressing the devil as Ronnie. He had stopped to say hi and tell Ronnie they were heading to the gym. Murphy thinks Ronnie is here to challenge him to a duel, and is unimpressed when Ronnie tells him he can't play guitar. Murphy then thinks this is a fraternity prank.
Back in the present, Ronnie asks if that jogs his memory, but Murphy had been in the bathroom the entire time. Murphy is again distracted by Ronnie's legs.
Back in the flashback, Ronnie is explaining that he could make Murphy famous but it'll screw him in the end when Hitler and Stalin pull back up, carrying a giant pumpkin in the back of the truck to take to the fair. Ronnie tells them to scram and tries to get back to business, but Murphy is too distracted by the pumpkin.
Ronnie tries to show him what was going to happen to him if he makes a deal with the devil: he'll be the most famous musician in the world...and then get crushed onstage by a safe. Murphy decides to forego fame and just asks for fortune. Ronnie shows him that if he gets that, he'll also end up with a gambling addiction and end up on the streets playing guitar while a monkey begs for change. When Murphy says he doesn't think that's so bad, Ronnie reveals the monkey is his wife. And then a safe crushes him and the monkey.
Murphy then tries to wish to be a business executive, namely of a safe company. Ronnie shows him that he'll be hit by a truck, only to come out okay, only to then be hit by a safe. And so is the monkey.
Murphy slowly realizes that he'll get screwed if he makes a deal with Ronnie, and refuses. Ronnie then makes a pitch that he could 'rule' Sealab instead. Murphy seems to be more receptive to this, when Stalin and Hitler pull up again, pretending that they lost the contest, only to reveal that they did indeed win with their giant pumpkin. They promise to make Ronnie a giant pumpkin pie as Ronnie yells at them to leave. Murphy then says yes.
Back in the present, Murphy finally remembers Ronnie, and Ronnie announces that he's come to collect on their deal: since Murphy ruled Sealab, Ronnie gets his soul and will take him to hell. Murphy claims he never actually agreed to that: he was saying he wanted some of Stalin's pie. As Ronnie sputters and tries to get Murphy under the safe that would crush him, Murphy reiterated that the deal was for pie and if he doesn't get it, he's not going to hell.
Ronnie gets him the pie, only for Murphy to say he's not hungry. Ronnie tries to get him to eat it but Murphy refuses. Ronnie yells that this isn't over and disappears. Stormy then comes in and eats the pie. Murphy laughs as Stormy eats it, but then eats some himself when Stormy tells him how delicious it is.
Both Stormy and Murphy end up in hell.
