Episode 7:
Stealth Mission! Tail the Date!
After returning from his overseas assignment, Kamiyama takes Sakura out on a date. But it isn't going to be easy for the rest of the Flower Division...
This episode provides examples of:
- Big "NO!": Reiji shouts "No!" upon realizing that Sumire has been listening to his plans the whole time.
- The Bus Came Back: Welcome back, Itsuki and Hiromi!
- Call-Back:
- As per Sakura Wars tradition, the main hero goes out on a date with the main heroine. This time around, Kamiyama takes Sakura and Klara out.
- While Kamiyama, Sakura and Klara go out on their date, the rest of the Flower Division pursue them in a similar vein to what the other members did to Kamiyama and Claris in the 2019 game.
- Cool Shades: The Flower Division (sans Azami) as well as the Moscow Combat Revue all wear sunglasses to disguise themselves during Kamiyama's date with Sakura and Klara.
- The Glomp: Klara glomps Kamiyama after the latter returning to the theater in The Teaser.
- Imagine Spot: As the Flower Division is preparing their food for Kamiyama's return, Sakura briefly imagines a scenario where he eats her food.
- Musical Nod: Sakura's theme is played when Kamiyama and the Flower Division have lunch together.
- Oh, Crap!:
- The Flower Division has a Mass "Oh, Crap!" when Kaminski and Leyla jump off the dock and try to catch Klara. Kaminski and Leyla themselves get one seconds later before they fall into the Sumida River.
- Reiji gets one when he realizes that Sumire has overheard his plans to ruin Kamiyama's date.
- Sudden Soundtrack Stop: Kaminski and Leyla pursue Kamiyama, Sakura and Klara while on their cruise to the Sumida River and quickly jump towards them. The chase ends quickly when the music fades out in distorted fashion as they miss their target and fall into the river.
