As part of a new initiative in the wake of Erika's death, 20 Squad finds themselves assigned a new team member, combat medic Nora Fowler. As Fowler struggles to fit in, particularly with Hondo, S.W.A.T. finds themselves in a race against time when the ex-husband of a missing woman insists a guy at her workplace has kidnapped her.

- Cassandra Truth: The ex-husband insisting his wife has been abducted. The LAPD initially dismiss it and even consider him a suspect, but S.W.A.T take it more seriously when they discover the man the ex-husband is accusing has been charged for stalking in another state.
