Toadsworth is overjoyed with his new "Mona Toadsworth" painting... and would have enjoyed it more had Mario not tried to use it to fix a broken toilet. Toadsworth, incensed, pays him back by swiping his spaghetti and threatens to harm it if a frantic Mario cannot find a suitable replacement before dark.
Stupid Mario Paint provides examples of:
- Ironic Echo: After Toadsworth freaks out after Mario destroys his painting, Mario replies by saying "Chill bro, It's just a painting". Toadsworth immediately grabs Mario's plate of spaghetti and threatens to harm it, saying "Chill bro, It's just a plate of spaghetti".
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Mario's understandable reaction when Luigi starts getting creepy with Toad.
- There Is No Kill Like Overkill: Mario tries giving Toadsworth a crappily made picture to replace the painting he destroyed. Toadsworth shoots the painting on the spot. Then defecates on it, sets it on fire, and blows it up with sticks of dynamite. There's no murder, but you get the idea.
