"Angelica's Last Stand" provides examples of:

  • Crocodile Tears: Angelica pulls a sob story on the babies that her family is poor because Spike ate their money to get out of sharing her money with them. When the babies explain the situation to Susie, she doesn't fall for it.
  • Death Glare: When the other babies elect Tommy to be the leader of their strike, Lil does this to Phil when he elects Reptar.
  • Hoarding the Profits: Angelica keeps all the money that she and the babies make for herself by tricking the babies into thinking that her family needs it more because they're poor. When the babies explain the situation to Susie, she suspects that Angelica has been lying to them so she could keep all the money for herself and encourages the babies to go on strike unless she pays them for their services.
  • Lemonade Stand Plot: In this episode, Angelica starts her own lemonade stand, and hires the babies to be her helpers. When she refuses to share the money she makes with them, Susie convinces them to go on strike.
  • Literal-Minded: When Angelica tells the babies to "hold the ice", Chuckie asks Tommy how long he's supposed to hold the ice for.
  • Noodle Incident: When Angelica asks Chuckie if she ever lied to him, Chuckie brings up the time she told him Spike was his brother and the time she told him rocks were food.
  • Strike Episode: Susie convinces the babies go on strike when Angelica refuses to share her money with them. As a result of this, Angelica is left to manage it by herself, and without the babies' help, it goes out of business.
  • Tin-Can Telephone: Angelica turns her lemonade stand into a drive-thru service by using one of these as an intercom system.

"If the mommies can wear pants, and the grown-ups can wear diapers, how come we can't wear dressies?"
  • Disguised in Drag: Chuckie and Phil decide to wear dresses in this episode after hearing how much fun they are from Lil. They try to keep up the act when they meet up with Frankie and Joey, but their ruse is exposed when Frankie and Joey see Chuckie's blue briefs.
  • Double Standard: Played for laughs when Phil and Chuckie see a sumo wrestling match while being chased, prompting Chuckie to ask the image quote.
Phil (pointing to Frankie and Joey coming their way): Uh, 'cause they'll beat us up?
  • Marilyn Maneuver: Happens to Chuckie when he tries on one of Lil's dresses and passes by an air vent.
  • Parachute Petticoat: Chuckie and Phil try this while wearing dresses for the first time. It actually worked for a second.
  • Pie in the Face: Subverted; while on the run from Frankie and Joey after their ruse is exposed, Chuckie and Phil come across some pies for a pie-eating contest and toss them at Frankie and Joey. Unfortunately, they miss every time.
  • Rimshot: One plays after Chuckie says, "The Hora! The Hora!" after Phil asks what happened to him.
  • Sobriquet Sex Switch: When Chuckie and Phil meet up with Frankie and Joey, to prove to them that they're girls, Phil calls himself "Phillian" and Chuckie "Chuckina".
  • Spotting the Thread: Frankie and Joey find out that Chuckie and Phil are really boys wearing dresses when they see Chuckie's blue briefs.
