- Computer Viruses Are Computer Illnesses: The Blue Space Virus is heavily implied to be a computer virus as it only affects robots and is cured by the robot doctor using an antivirus program.
- Green Around the Gills: Parodied; the robot nurse initially thinks Ema is sick upon seeing her green face, until Ema clarifies that she's supposed to be green.
- Healthcare Motivation: Rob wants to go on the episode's mission to cure TK of the Blue Space Virus.
