Jane and Maura are faced with a victim but no means of identification since all they have is a disembodied foot. When more body parts continue to wash ashore, the team is lead to a doctor who utilizes "sound therapy" to cure his patients. Meanwhile, Angela accidentally scores a job at Korsak's bar.

- Brain Bleach: Jane and Frankie joke that the new bartender could be "the new Mrs Rizzoli" before Korsak clarifies that the new hire is the current Mrs Rizzoli as he hired Angela.
- Broken Pedestal: Doctor Murray's former assistant Burke claims that he lost faith in Doctor Murray when he learned that Murray killed one of his past patients to hide the fact that his treatment was unable to cure the patient's illness. Subverted as Burke was the one who killed Murray to hide that revelation.
- Ripped from the Headlines: The episode begins with a dismembered foot found at the beach, and references the British Columbia human foot discoveries
directly. It then veers into a plot about alternative medicine fraud and a serial killer doctor that injects his victims with cyanide.
