- Actor Allusion: Amphibia AU Rick asks why King Andrias sounds just like President Curtis. Keith David voices both characters in their respective shows.
- Asshole Victim: The overly racist Belos being effortlessly destroyed by the overly nihilistic Amphibia AU Rick. Considering what he tried doing and what he's done in The Owl House, he sure had it coming.
- Battle in the Center of the Mind: The Core attempts to take control of Amphibia AU Rick after it sneaks up on him. Unsurprisingly, Rick retaliates by taking over the Core itself, similarly to how he took control of the brainalyzer, then stomps the Core to pieces after freeing himself.
- Call-Back:
- The "Mewni" AU harkens back to Lincoln and Lola's adventure in Driving Miss Hazy with Mr. Meesseeks.
- Rick mentioning Mewni startles Lori, likely making her think about that note her original parents left in Loudest Mission: Rickshaws Rickdemption.
- Crossover: A lot of the A Us are this.
- The entire family are shown to be all Pokemon trainers in one universe.
