When Nora encounters her sister, she must make a difficult choice between family and her promise to Charlie and Miles. However, when she learns that her sister is actually a bounty hunter and has made a secret deal with the militia to deliver Miles to them, she rejoins Miles' band to help them escape the ambush. Meanwhile, one of the most ruthless members of the militia, Strausser, is tracking Miles, Charlie and the gang. General Monroe hands Major Neville a stern warning. The locations of numerous pendants are revealed on a working computer screen in the unknown location where Randall is holding Grace prisoner.
Flashbacks: Nora is shown to have been a teenager at the time of the blackout, as well as having a younger sister. Living in Texas shortly after the blackout, the two flee the home of their mother for their father's home in Galveston, Texas. When they arrive, their father is nowhere to be found. They make a pact to always be there for each other.
