Go To

Mordecai, Rigby, CJ, and Eileen go to the beach to watch the sea turtles hatch and head into the ocean, and stumble upon a shoreside spa where sea turtles are being used as a fountain of youth for the rich.

Tropes:

  • Badass Adorable: Rigby finds the baby sea turtles' destruction of Youthtopia to be awesome.
  • Beware the Cute Ones: The sea turtles destroy the Youthtopia spa, even swarming over their members and devouring them whole.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Margaret and her father arrive just in time to save the group from the club members.
  • Conflicting Loyalty: Eileen wants to be able to hang out with both her friends but because of the Christmas incident, she can't.
  • Character Development: For CJ, who is still upset with Mordecai for kissing Margaret, but learns to swallow her pride and call Margaret for help when she and Mordecai are arrested by the corrupt cops.
  • Cringe Comedy: Eileen calling Margaret for directions and winding up putting her on speaker phone.
  • Dirty Cop: The two cops who're in leagues with the Youthopia spa in exchange for lifetime memberships.
  • Fountain of Youth: The Youth Club members think that rubbing turtles over their skin will keep them looking young.
  • Once Done, Never Forgotten: When Eileen calls Margaret, Mordecai and CJ become visibly uncomfortable, remembering the events from "Merry Christmas, Mordecai," and Eileen mentions that she hates that Mordecai's kissing Margaret made it difficult for everyone to hang out together.
  • Police Brutality: Two police officers are amongst the antagonists, who work with Big Bads just to keep up their young looks.
  • Powered by a Forsaken Child: The spa uses baby sea turtles for their treatments, implying that they suck out their youth in the process.
  • Pungeon Master: One of the cops likes to use pun-based Bond one liners, then adding "you see what I did there?" afterwards. The turtles give him an Ironic Echo at the end.
  • Roaring Rampage of Revenge: The turtles devouring the club members while freeing their brethren, then finishing their rampage by ramming the corrupt cops and two main club members into the ocean.
  • Synchronized Swarming / The Worm That Walks: When taking over the police car, the turtles form a policeman at the drivers seat, even donning sunglasses and buckling up.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Margaret gives the club members and police a subtle one on air for kidnapping baby sea turtles, using them for youth treatments and, in the cops case, letting the club get away with it in exchange for treatments.
