Written and storyboarded by Benton Connor and Sarah Oleksyk

CJ signs up for a mini-golf tournament where the winner gets a card that gives the holder permission to cut in line at their favorite cafe — and must confront her overly-competitive father.

Tropes:

  • A Day in the Limelight: For CJ.
  • Berserk Button: For CJ, missing easy shots and her dad's gloating.
  • Big "NO!": Rigby says it after CJ burns the official cut-the-cheezers card.
  • Bowdlerization: The UK version of this episode does not show the title to this episode, because the censors felt it was too risque for kids (for the uninformed, "daddy issues" is used in association with women who do sexually dangerous or foolish things because they were abused or neglected by their fathers in their childhood).
  • Golf Clubbing: CJ attacks the moles like that.
  • Groin Attack: When Carl sees the giant monster mole attacking CJ, he putts a ball straight to... the mole's balls, following by Your Head Asplode.
  • Keep the Reward: CJ decides she doesn't want the "Cut the Cheezers" card (which is an unlimited pass to skip the long line at Cheezers) after winning it in the tournament, and throws it in the lava to Rigby's horror.
  • Pun: "Sink-hole de Queso" for "Cinco de Mayo".
  • Second Place Is for Losers: Clearly stated by CJ's dad.
Carl Putter: Second Place is just the first loser!
  • Shout-Out: When CJ wins the Sink-Hole de Queso challenge, a giant cheese-man bursts through a wall just like the Kool-Aid Man does.
  • Tantrum Throwing: After missing an easy practice show CJ gets angry and throws the golf club to a car nearby, breaking it's windshield.
  • Think of the Children!: Said by Rigby, and by children, he means "Me! I'm the children!''
  • Trash Talk: Carl's very prone to it... and feels extremely proud when CJ gloats after beating him.
  • Unsportsmanlike Gloating: CJ's dad is quite prone to this. She's not that different when the chance presents.
