Tropes
- A Day in the Limelight: For Thomas.
- Foreshadowing: Thomas infiltrating East Pines under the cover of an intern named Nicholas to gain their trust and steal back a statue and when he calls his mom at the end of the episode he says "Mission Accomplished". In "The Real Thomas", he's revealed to be a Russian spy named Nikolai who infiltrated the Park under the cover of an intern to steal the Park itself for his country and his "mom" was not real.
- Our Founder: Curtis Montgomery is the park founder, thus a statue of him was constructed in his honor.
- Underestimating Badassery: Thomas ultimately proved everyone else wrong by explaining his plan to retrieve the statue. Gene himself underestimated the park on their effort to retake back the founder's statue.
- Xanatos Gambit: Thomas had been meticulous in secretly sabotaging the security measures (including cutting all communications). As a result, everybody got out alive with the park statue.
