Written and storyboarded by Sarah Oleksyk and Owen Dennis

Mordecai and Rigby try their hand at street performing using their songs to get money for a video game.

Tropes:

  • Bowdlerization: In the UK, the God of Street Performing is renamed "The Dude of Street Performing." Ironically, the U.S. Cartoon Network (which has edited a lot of references to gods and religion in their anime in the past — see The Big Onote , Trigunnote ) left this intact.
  • Clownification: The titular street performer is turned into a mime by the God of Street Performing before being banished to "street jail".
  • Irony: When Mordecai and Rigby are inspired by the titular Silver Dude to take up street performing, Rigby initially wants to copy him. Mordecai stops him, however, and says that ripping off the Silver Dude is wrong. Guess what the Silver Dude does when they start rapping?
  • Magic Music: Mordecai and Rigby say their original songs have "unique powers" during the final street performance battle, and their final song's power is unleashed. Mordecai and Rigby then channel it into the Silver Dude's boombox, destroying it.
  • Plagiarism in Fiction: The titular Silver Dude ends up ripping Mordecai and Rigby off... as in, doing his ball act like normal, just with Mordecai and Rigby's singing as background music.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: During the final street battle between Mordecai and Rigby and the Silver Dude, the duo use their songs to start calling out the Silver Dude for stealing their songs and remixing them for his performances.
