Sarge, Grif, Tucker, and Caboose pursue CT and Church through the dig site with the aliens hot on their trails. Meanwhile, back at Valhalla, Simmons, Donut and Lopez desperately try to escape the Meta.

- Berserk Button: Church completely loses it after CT calls him a thing and blasts him with a laser beam.
- Downer Ending: Tucker, Caboose, Grif, Church, and Sarge are surrounded by the aliens after killing CT, Washington is revealed to have pulled a Face–Heel Turn and joined up with the Meta as part of a plan to recover Epsilon, killing Donut and Lopez and taking Simmons captive.
- Face–Heel Turn: Washington decides to recover Epsilon so he'll be pardoned, having Hargrove partner him up with the Meta, and is now perfectly willing to kill the Reds and Blues to get the AI.

- You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: Lopez is left completely non-plussed that the only thing that Donut was able to accurately translate of him speaking in Spanish was just a sarcastic remark about convincing The Meta to stand in front of the turret.Lopez: [Sarcastic] Maybe you can convince him to stand in front of it.
Simmons: What?
Donut: He said maybe you can convince The Meta to stand in front of it.
Simmons: What a stupid plan, Lopez. Try to actually help.
Lopez: Come on, really? THAT was the one thing you understood?
Donut: I agree Lopez, Pencils are great.
