The forces of Chorus prepare their assault on Crash Site Alpha, but Kimball is having trouble with the Federal soldiers. Meanwhile, Malcolm Hargrove offers the Mercs some incentive.

- Foreshadowing: When Hargrove explains that the modified Meta armor needs an AI in order to work properly, Felix asks if he wants them to capture the Epsilon AI, but Hargrove says Epsilon is too outdated to run the armor properly. This ends up being an important plot point in the season finale.
- Hey, That's My Line!: When Carolina uses Tucker's "Bow chicka bow-wow" in an attempt to loosen up, Tucker's reaction is a dumbstruck, "Did she just say my thing?"
- How Is That Even Possible?: Simmons doesn't understand how Jensen caused a massive car pile-up by driving at five miles an hour.
- Implied Death Threat: When Hargrove is getting on Felix and Locus' case for failing to deal with the Reds and Blues despite all he has given them, he tries to properly "motivate" them by showing them the modified Meta armor. He tells them that if they can complete their mission before the armor is completed he will loan them the suit for their own personal use as a "test run", but if they fail then he will have another candidate test the suit and have them finish the job the two of them couldn't, as well as "tie up loose ends".
- Suddenly Shouting: Hargrove does this at the start of his call with the mercs, going from a sarcastic tone of voice to screaming at the top of his lungs.Hargrove: Oh, I'm terribly sorry, Felix. I know exactly how frustrating it is to be interrupted. Just this morning I met with a client, who's very interested in our new Suppressor submachine gun (picks up a broken Suppressor, showing it to the mercs) UNTIL THE BLOODY THING BLEW UP IN HIS HANDS!!
