- Stating the Simple Solution: When Grif and Sarge are listing the flaws in their base to Simmons, Grif points out the huge hole in the roof that washes him into a corner whenever it rains, and Sarge says the majority of the west wing is made up of sand bags and rain tarps. Grif then remembers, if they have rain tarps why aren't they just using them to cover up the hole in the roof?
