Church confronts Carolina on her loner attitude.

- And This Is for...: Carolina makes it clear that she's not just hunting the Director for herself, but for all the other Freelancers who suffered because of his experiments.
- Continuity Nod: Church got York's logs from the last time he visited a Freelancer facility, which would be the Freelancer offsite bunker the Reds and Blues visited in "The Revelation." Those logs were collected by Wash when he recovered York's armor and equipment in the "Recovery One" mini series.
- "Not So Different" Remark: After Church shows Carolina York's logs and asked why, Church replies, "Because, I know what it's like to spend your life chasing ghosts."
- Suicide For Comedy: Tucker snarks that Sarge has a way with words that just immediately makes him want to kill himself.
- Undying Loyalty: While the rest of the Reds and Blues are a bit cautious that Washington may chooses to side with his Freelancer friend Carolina over the rest of them, Caboose has absolute faith in him to the point he tells Washington how he is spying on him due to figuring he won't tell anyone because they're friends.Wash: Caboose, you do realize that when you spy on someone, no one's actually supposed to know you are spying on them.
Caboose: I know, I just figured that you wouldn't tell anyone.
Wash: Wait, what makes you think that?
Caboose: Oh, you know Agent Washington. I'm pretty sure that we could trust you. I mean, we are friends.
(Caboose turns and walks away while Wash stares at the sunset)
Wash: Friends...
