While searching for the Web creature that bit AndrAIa, the Saucy Mare is attacked by mysterious "Web Riders", people that live in the Web and tamed its creatures. But the leader of the Riders may have a secret of his own...
This episode has examples of
- Achilles' Heel: Ray's connection to his board is exploited by one of the Riders in order to incapacitate him.
- Big Damn Heroes: The Riders are poised to execute everyone aboard the ship, but then a certain someone comes aboard and orders them to stop.
- The Bus Came Back: After being launched into the Web in the Season 2 finale, Bob finally returns.
- Call-Back: When taking off his mask, Bob remarks, "You just can't talk in these things"; just what he said about the helmet he wore in "Nullzilla".
- Don't Look At Me: When Matrix knocks a Web Rider's mask off, revealing it to be a degraded Sprite, it responds by shielding its face and saying "disrespect is unwelcome" before clubbing Matrix.
- The Glomp: Subverted. When he sees Bob, Matrix looks and acts like he's going to tackle his hero like when he was a kid. Given Matrix's current Heroic Build, Bob very quickly stops him.
- "Hell, Yes!" Moment: "BOB!"
- Kick the Dog: One of the Web Riders is shown laughing while wailing on Ray's board to incapacitate him.
- Oh, Crap!:
- Captain Capacitor's reaction to learning who the Riders are.
- Matrix after Glitch flies off his belt and into the new arrival's hand. He immediately realizes what this means and stares with his mouth agape.
- Pet the Dog:
- The high-ranking Web Rider (who turns out to be Bob) is shown to have rescued the Binome who was sucked out into the Web when the Riders first boarded The Saucy Mare, establishing him as a good guy even before he commands the other Riders to stop attacking the Mare.
- Mr. Christopher, previously portrayed as only caring about profit, is revealed to have been giving his own energy to AndrAIa to help keep her stable during the fight with the Web Riders.
- The Reveal: The Riders plaguing the crew throughout these last two episodes are degraded sprites that were trapped in the Web.
- Wham Line: "Stand down. These are my friends."
- Wham Shot:
- Glitch suddenly flying into the hand of the masked man.
- Removing the mask reveals Bob's tweaked design.
- Worf Had the Flu: Matrix donated so much energy to AndrAIa that it hampers his ability to fight during the climax, which he also loses Gun in.
