When Frax's fury against Ransik reaches its peak, he decides to make his move on betraying him by unleashing the most dangerous X-Vault prisoner they have. As the Time Force Rangers deal with this venomous mutant, the secret past that Ransik and Frax share is finally revealed.

- Accidental Hero: Ransik's condition flared up when fighting Venomark, so he had to take his serum and then dropped the vial. Wes sees this and later realizes they have the means for a cure.

- "Eureka!" Moment: Seeing how the bite is affecting Lucas, Wes recalls Ransik taking the serum to alleviate the same kind of symptoms and realizes there is a cure, after all.
- Everyone Has Standards: Eric stops Wes at the door, but he takes him up to the office after learning the others have been bitten by Venomark.
- Eviler than Thou: When confronted at the park, Venomark initially tries to fight Ransik. He gets clobbered and only escapes because Ransik's condition suddenly flared up. He doesn't want to go anywhere near him ever again.
- False Reassurance: "Relax, Ranger. It'll only hurt forever!"
- The Farmer and the Viper: Dr. Ferricks showed Ransik nothing but kindness, even saving his life, and he was rewarded for this by having his lab destroyed and being left for dead. Frax reminds Ransik of this before smashing the last vial of serum.
- Five-Second Foreshadowing: When Ransik walks into the chamber, he suddenly steps on some broken glass. He then sees his vials of serum have been destroyed.
- Flat "What": Ransik when Frax makes his big reveal.
- Murder by Inaction: In the opening, when Ransik was suffering a venom attack, Frax contemplated just standing off to the side and letting the venom finish him off. Unfortunately, Nedira showed up and took the serum from him to give to Ransik.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: If Ransik hadn’t interrupted when Venomark was about to bite Wes, the latter would have been infected along with the other Rangers and would unable to get the serum to his father to reproduce and cure everyone in the city.
- Oh, Crap!: Venomark when he sees Ransik. Also Ransik when Frax reveals him that he's really Dr. Ferricks.
- Once More, with Clarity: Ransik's Flashback ended with the explosion of Dr. Ferricks' lab. At the end of the episode, it picks back up from that point, revealing that Ferricks survived and transformed himself into the robotic form of Frax.
- Only in It for the Money: Mr. Collins agrees to help Wes save the city by having his scientists reproduce the serum to cure Venomark's bite. But he makes it clear that he's doing it mainly, if not only, because being handed medicine from the future is something that could help make his pharmaceutical business even more profitable.Mr. Collins: (holding the container of serum) If it works....(begins to smile) this could be a gold mine!
- Pet the Dog: Eric gives a dose of serum to a struggling old woman that fell over.
- Pragmatic Villainy: Ransik interrupts Venomark's attack on Wes because he hates him more than the Power Rangers.

- Upon seeing Ransik for the first time since the night he attacked him, Venomark was shocked he was alive. Apparently, he had been under the assumption that Ransik had been destroyed that night, and was unaware he went on to become a notorious mutant gang leader.note
- Prior to Frax revealing his true identity, Ransik thought that Dr. Ferricks had perished when he blew up his lab.
- Sarcasm Mode: Frax when expressing surprise to Ransik over the vials of serum being destroyed and when dropping the last vial in front of him.

- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: When Ransik begins to suffer another venom attack, Venomark opts to flee while he still can.
