Jack learns a hard lesson about being a leader when he lets the power get to his head.
Tropes:
- An Aesop: Being a leader isn't about bossing others around and being lazy. Being a leader is about setting an example for your team.
- Drunk with Power: Jack, as he realizes he can boss the others around.
- Easily Forgiven: A Zig-zagged trope. Mostly everyone on B-Squad is willing to forgive Jack for his earlier attitude as he did come through at the end and help them defeat Praxis. However, the only one that doesn't is Sky, but that's for several other reasons.
- Jerkass Realization: Jack has this when he is forced to stay at the Delta Base and see his team struggle.
- Go to Your Room!: Gruum tells Mora to go to her room so he can talk to Broodwing while she’s already in her room. When she points this out, he tells her to go to his room instead, despite having previously told her to never go to his room.
- Rookie Red Ranger: Jack's so much of a noob that
he doesn't realize that Red is supposed to be the squad leader.
