Go To

Both the Power Rangers and Galvanax attempt to find more information about the mysterious Gold Ranger.

Episode Tropes:

• An Aesop: "Just goes to show ya, you can't judge a person until you get to know 'em."
• Bad Liar: Mick stammers when he insists he doesn't know what the vision of the Lion Fire Ship means.
• Call-Back:
• One for the previous episode as Sarah was able to use her hologram technology to create a Ninja Clone Power Star.
• Levi reveals that the Ninja Nexus Prism arrived to him after leaving Brody, Preston, and Sarah during Return of the Prism, hence why the Gold Power Star was missing when it reached Calvin and Hayley.
• Early-Bird Cameo:
• Mick gives Levi his Storm Power Star and Bull Rider Zord Star, both of which won't be used until the following episode.
• Likewise, the Ninja Nexus Prism shows a zord that Mick recognizes as the Lion Fire Ship.
• Flashback: When Levi explains how he encountered the Ninja Nexus Prism and was abducted by Madame Odious.
• Foreshadowing: While out for some food, Brody gets Levi a Double Danger Chili Burger and says it was his brother's favorite. Levi quickly takes a liking to it. The Rangers are also very impressed by Levi's fighting skills in comparison to their own, hinting at how he's been training substantially longer than most of them have.
• Friendship Moment: Brody agrees to be Levi's bodyguard on the condition that the others get backstage passes to the concert.
• Hidden Depths:
• Levi is a famed celebrity, but he's excessively humble, shares food with a hungry kid, and (oh yeah) is the Gold Ranger.
• Levi admits surprise that Brody can fix a car engine.
• Humble Hero: Brody insists he just helped Levi because it was the right thing to do and starts to walk off without expecting any gratitude for his efforts.
• Hypocritical Humor: As the group waits in line while in costume.
Preston: Let's all just try to act natural, okay? I don't wanna embarrass myself.
Brody: You do realize you have a cactus on your backside, don't you?
• I Just Want to Be Normal: Levi hired Brody to be his bodyguard simply because Brody treated him like a regular person. He found it refreshing and wanted to get to know Brody better.
• I'm Standing Right Here: Calvin is not particularly enthused to hear Hayley go on about how cute she thinks Levi is.
• Malicious Misnaming: After breaking his horn, Brody calls Ripcon "Unicorn."
• Missed Him by That Much: During the teaser, the Rangers only arrive on the scene after the Gold Ranger destroys a monster and has left. According to Sarah, this has been a regular occurrence ever since the Gold Ranger started appearing.
• Noodle Incident: Multiple monsters have already been sent to capture the Gold Ranger. Like the guy in the teaser, they didn't make it back to the ship.
• Oh, Crap!: The Rangers when Levi morphs. He has he felt the same way when he saw them do it.
• Once More, with Clarity: Levi's flashback ends with his escape from the Warrior Dome in the last episode but with his face shown this time.
• Red Herring: The Rangers were under the impression that Levi's manager, Tom, was the Gold Ranger because he had the Gold Power Star. He's not. Levi had him hold onto it.
• The Reveal:
• Levi is the Gold Ranger.
• Odious was the one who secretly kept Levi a prisoner on the ship.
• Rewatch Bonus:
• With Levi being the Gold Ranger, Brody initially thinking of him as a spoiled celebrity and learning that's not the case. Becomes an even bigger bonus a few episodes later when Brody learns Levi is his missing brother.
• In light of the reveal, all of the times Odious talking about finding the traitor and trying to put the blame elsewhere.
• When the attack at the autograph signing begins, Levi gets up from the table. In light of the reveal, he was trying to sneak off to go get his power star before Brody had to shove him out of the way of an energy blast.
• The Scapegoat: Odious suggests Ripcon is the one who responsible for the Gold Ranger being on the ship when it was her all along.
• Screw This, I'm Outta Here: After the others are incapacitated and being told to morph, Tom flees the scene. Since he's not really the Gold Ranger, the Rangers can't blame him too much.
• This Cannot Be!: Ripcon over Brody shattering one of his horns.
• Time Skip: According to Galvanax, it's been weeks since the ending of the last episode.
• Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Levi's refusal to tell Ripcon who was holding him prisoner inadvertently benefits Madame Odious and her agenda. He also later expresses regret for endangering Tom by having him hold onto his power star.
• Visual Pun: While others waiting in line to meet Levi are dressed in cowboy clothing, a little girl is dressed like an actual fan. She lampshades being Levi's "biggest fan." It even wins her the contest.
• Wham Shot: Levi picking up the Gold Power Star.

Ninja Steel Gold

A popular country singer who was imprisoned aboard Galvanax's ship. After escaping, he joins the team as its Sixth Ranger.

It eventually comes out that Levi is actually Brody's missing older brother Aiden, who was entrusted with the Ninja Steel by their father Dane when Galvanax attacked. Having witnessed his father's vanishing and his brother's abduction, Aiden hid the Ninja Steel, then himself under an alias, hiding out in the open. After the Ninja Nexus Prism found him and he was captured by Madame Odius, she copied his memories of being Aiden into a robot and replaced them with fake memories. Later, in battle with the robot, he damaged it in a way that led to his real memories being returned to him. After he heard Brody singing their father's song, his returned memories were fully restored, and he was able to explain the truth to the other Rangers.
