  • Big Damn Heroes:
    • As the Rangers start getting pummeled by the Chimera monster, Daggeron arrives to buy them time to escape.
    • Udonna arrives to stop Koragg from finishing Nick and drop the big reveal.
  • Big "NO!":
    • Necrolai, as she gets caught in the Pit's collapse.
    • After Imperious teleports Jenji in-between them during the battle, Daggeron when he nearly hits his friend instead.
  • Big "YES!": Jenji when Daggeron gets in a good hit on Imperious.
  • Bittersweet Ending: Imperious is destroyed, the Master has been trapped again, and Udonna is reunited with her long-lost son. On the other hand, Leanbow is missing, Nick has conflicting emotions about his father, and Daggeron knows a new threat will be coming.
  • Brought Down to Normal: Udonna notes how her use of the Book of Dark Magic has left her as this.
  • Cheaters Never Prosper: Imperious cheats during his last fight against Daggeron, and he defeats him with honor.
  • Combat Pragmatist: When he starts losing the bound battle, Imperious openly cheats by using magic to teleport Jenji in as a shield. When Daggeron hesitates during a strike, Imperious zaps him.
    Jenji: Hey, you cheated!
Imperious: Of course I did. [tosses Jenji aside and then faces Daggeron] Do you think I care about fighting with honor? That is for fools like you and Leanbow!
  • Despair Event Horizon: Udonna briefly crosses it when she sees Leanbow has been turned back into Koragg.
  • Didn't See That Coming: "You were with me all along, and I never knew. It's truly magical."
  • Dramatic Irony: The various parts of the Chimera remark Nick is a lot like Leanbow shortly before the big reveal.
  • Dying Curse: Imperious loses and is about to die, but he sticks it to Daggeron to make it less satisfying.
Imperious: You have defeated me, Daggeron, but with my destruction, a terror will be unleashed that you cannot even imagine! [laughs, as he crumbles to dust]
  • Foreshadowing: Imperious warns "a terror will be unleashed" following his destruction.
  • Honor Before Reason:
    • The restored Koragg tells Nick to pick up his sword and that he won't strike down an unarmed opponent.
    • Leanbow won't allow the Rangers to go fight the Master, saying this is his responsibility.
    • Daggeron says he would rather die with honor than live without it. Imperious attempts to oblige.
  • Hypocritical Humor: Jenji telling Daggeron not to be a wise guy.
  • Incorruptible Pure Pureness: Nick demands to know why Koragg kept passing up chance after chance to kill them all. Madison and Xander understand why: a part of Leanbow has always been influencing Koragg's actions.
  • It's Personal: Daggeron vs. Imperious, due to their bitter history. When Imperious challenges him to a fight to the finish, Daggeron doesn't hesitate to agree.
  • Karmic Death: Imperious meets his end at the hands of Daggeron, the one he betrayed and tried to kill all those years ago.
  • Little "No": Udonna after seeing Leanbow has been turned back into Koragg.
  • Luke, I Am Your Father: Udonna learns that Nick is her long missing son and tells him.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Imperious unintentionally caused Koragg to remember he is Leanbow, when he cast a spell to infect the Manticore Megazord and leave the Rangers defenseless when they were in a Megazord battle with Koragg, thus making remove the spell and causing his memories of being Leanbow to emerge.
  • Not Quite Dead: Daggeron, of course.
  • The Power of Love: Leanbow's love for his son restores him to normal.
  • Reformed, but Rejected: Nick is openly skeptical of Leanbow—citing Koragg's past actions.
  • The Reveal: "This is Bowen. Your child... our child."
  • Spanner in the Works: Imperious considered Daggeron as good as dead, but he was saved by Jenji.
  • Throw the Dog a Bone: While trying to reassure Udonna, Claire covers her with a certain baby blanket.
  • Villain Has a Point: Koragg observes that Nick has a serious anger problem that hampers his ability to fight more effectively.
  • Villain Respect: Defeating Nick, Koragg intends to give him a quick Mercy Kill as a sign of respect for putting up a good fight.
  • Wide-Eyed Idealist: When it's all over, Udonna is absolutely certain that Leanbow will be coming home someday.
