Deceptive Disciple: After being bested in a fight by Tamashiro, Cyclopter pretends to defect from the demons side and asks Tamashiro to take him in as his student. However, it's all a ruse to get Tamashiro to train him, and once the training is finished, Cyclopter immediately reveals his true colors.
Disappointed in You: Tamashiro is disappointed that Chad became a Power Ranger instead of following in his footsteps as a martial arts master.
Fake Defector: Cyclopter pretended he defected from the Demons. Loki pretended to be shocked and "fought" Cyclopter for his supposed betrayal.
Mythology Gag: When Tamashiro shows up to challenge to challenge Cyclopter, he was drinking a carton of milk. His counterpart in GoGoV has a habit of drinking milk. The footage of the monster Spartan being hit by the carton was used.
"Not So Different" Remark: Kelsey calls Chad out for being as much a prideful prick as his sensei, who's in danger of Cyclopter double-crossing him.
