As the Rangers head back to Earth for supplies, Andros gets a bid of culture shock of the planet. However, problems occur when a new foe appears.
This episode includes examples of:
- Bully Hunter: Implied; Andros put hot sauce into Bulk's milkshake because the latter wouldn’t share his French fries with Skull (who'd misplaced his wallet).
- Cliffhanger: Astronema orders Elgar to summon something from New York's sewers and who should pop out but the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?
- Hot Sauce Drinking: Andros uses his telekinesis to put hot sauce into Bulk's milkshake.
- This Is Gonna Suck: Astronema realizes she's stuck with Elgar after confirming Dark Specter assigned him to work with her faction…for reasons that are never given.
- Thrown Out the Airlock: Astronema was about to do this to Elgar until he said it was Dark Specter's orders he be on the ship.
- The Unreveal: No reason in-universe is given for why Elgar was reassigned to work with Astronema. A later episode confirms that even Divatox didn’t know about it. The old Fox Kids website claims he was sent to the Dark Fortress after apparently wrecking Divatox's Subcraft. Behind the scenes, it was likely done to give the show a comic relief villainnote ; it's also been rumored that the American production never received Ecliptor's first caped form for original footage, and needed someone for Astronema to converse with early on.
