Astronema and Ecliptor are busy converting their captured civilians into datacards; the Rangers mount a rescue attempt, not realizing the Psycho Rangers have survived in spectral forms, plotting revenge....
This episode includes examples of:
- Back from the Dead: Psycho Black refers to being destroyed as just a temporary setback.
- Benevolent Boss: Ecliptor profusely apologizes for this failure, but Astronema tells him not to sweat it.
- Bring It: When Psycho Red boasts they can finally destroy the Rangers, Andros tells them to give it their best shot.
- The Cuckoolander Was Right: After being returned to normal, Bulk and Skull feel sick and wonder what happened. Professor Phenomenus explains everything, getting every possible detail about Astronema's plan correct.Phenomenus: Don't worry, boys! We were changed into data cards by aliens, and we were almost transformed into mindless zombies! [cheerily] But we're okay now!
- Curb-Stomp Battle:
- Not a kind episode to Ecliptor. He gets pummeled by the Psycho Rangers twice and then by Zhane.
- The Rangers are initially able to put up decent fights, but once the Psychos' monster forms come out, they start getting clobbered.
- Didn't See That Coming: When explaining what happened to Astronema, Ecliptor cops to how he never expected the Psycho Rangers to show up.
- The End... Or Is It?: The final scene reveals Astronema has gotten hold of the newly digitized Psycho Rangers.
- Hope Spot: During the fight outside, the Rangers blast the Psychos with their weapons and cause a massive explosion. Andros thinks that did the trick, but then the smoke clears and reveals the Psychos' monster forms.Psycho Red: Haven't you learned you can't destroy the Psycho Rangers so easily?!
- Nerves of Steel: While surrounded by Quantrons, Phenomenus yells at them to not mess up his polyester coat.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Just before both teams start rumbling in the lab, Ecliptor shoots the Psychos in the back and says only Astronema gets to destroy the Rangers. With the villains fighting it out, the Rangers regroup outside.
- Not Quite Dead:
- Escaping the explosion, the Rangers notice Zhane isn't on the beach with them. He turns up shortly afterwards, saying he stayed behind trying to get the Psychos' data cards.
- After the explosion, the Rangers assume the Psycho's data cards were destroyed, but Astronema now has them in her possession.
- Pragmatic Villainy: The Psychos retake the data cards and restore the Rangers to normal so they can have the chance to kill them.
- Sarcasm Mode: When the Psycho Rangers revive, Psycho Red sarcastically asks a shocked Ecliptor if he missed them.
- Taking You with Me: As the Psychos are being digitized, Psycho Red ensnares Andros with a tentacle and tries reeling him in. Luckily, T.J. manages to cut the tentacle with his axe.
- Tempting Fate: After being restored, the Rangers try to get their bearings.Cassie: Well, we both seem to be okay.
Psycho Red: [appearing] Not for long! - This Is Gonna Suck: Bulk and Skull groan in this tone just before being digitized.
- We Meet Again: How Psycho Yellow greets the Rangers.
