- Bond One-Liner: Of a non-lethal variety. When Andros gets suspicious about where the other rangers are, Astronema (as Ashley) quips "I'm sure they're hanging around somewhere." Cut to a forgotten corner of the cargo bay, where T.J., Carlos, and Cassie are bound by their feet upside-down from the ceiling, and gagged with handkerchiefs.
- Capture and Replicate: Astronema's plan with Ashley is this.
- Deadpan Snarker: After the Rangers defeat the Body Switcher monster, Elgar whispers to a Quantron that he liked Ashley disguised as Astronema better, which the real Astronema overhears and zaps him from behind.
- Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: When Alpha wants to give Ashley (who was Astronema in disguise) a birthday present, Astronema doesn't understand this gesture and asks him what he wants in return, to which Alpha replies nothing and that he wanted to give his present only because she's his friend, surprising her.

Hilarious in Hindsight: Astronema declaring "I wouldn't want to be a Power Ranger anyway!" - Internal Reveal: When Astronema in her Ashley disguise bumps into Alpha who wanted to give her a music box as a birthday present, she is surprised at this and states that nobody else has been truly nice to her before.
- Ironic Birthday: Ashley celebrates her birthday with her friends. Unfortunately for the Rangers, they are captured by Astronema and Ashley must free them before it's too late.
- No Ontological Inertia: A shape-shifting monster makes Astronema look like Ashley, after which the real Ashley is kidnapped. To escape, she tricks the monster into giving her Astronema's body, and then returns to help the other Rangers destroy it. Luckily, when she takes her helmet off she's back to normal, the monster's spells having been broken by its death.
- Perfect Disguise, Terrible Acting: Astronema disguised as Ashley, while she sounds like her, she's bad impersonating her while fake-fighting her Quantrons.
- Spot the Imposter: Done twice. Ashley (in the form of Astronema) asks Astronema (in the form of Ashley, morphed) what Andros got her for her birthday, which she doesn't know. The second time has Andros saying “Let's Rocket”, the morphing call, and only the real Ashley gets the transformation pose right.
