A forced fusion by Darkonda and Ecliptor puts the Rangers on the edge and a blow to the head causes T.J. to forget he was a Power Rangers. With only Andros left to fight against Darkliptor, how can T.J. be of any help?

- Darkonda lets Ecliptor take the lead on fighting the Rangers. Once Ecliptor is distracted, Darkonda strike him In the Back and has the opening to do the Fusion Dance.
- Darkliptor claims to Astronema that the transformation was a response to Ecliptor betraying and attacking Darkonda. Astronema is skeptical of such a claim, but he's only saying this to set up the next gambit. Back on the Dark Fortress after the separation, Darkonda goads Ecliptor into attacking him with Astronema nearby, seemingly confirming the accusation and making himself look like a loyal solider.
- Berserk Button: Darkonda questions Ecliptor's intelligence. Astronema reacts to her Parental Substitute being insulted by threatening to execute Darkonda.
- Big "NO!": Andros after T.J. takes the blow to the head.
- Big "WHAT?!": Ecliptor's reaction to Astronema making him and Darkonda Co-Dragons.
- Co-Dragons: Thinking Darkonda was vindicated, Astronema orders Ecliptor to not attack him and says they are now equals in the operation.
- Dark Secret: Darkonda happily reminds Ecliptor that he has this kind of leverage over him.
- Evil Laugh: Darkonda over both Ecliptor playing right into his hands and Astronema making him Ecliptor's equal.
- Faux Affably Evil: Ecliptor says it's so nice to see the Rangers again before attacking them.
- Foreshadowing: Darkonda drops hints that Astronema would not be happy to learn the secret he and Ecliptor share about her past.
- Fusion Dance: One-sided, as Darkonda pulls this on Ecliptor twice.
- Hope Spot: The Rangers develop an interstellar scanner as a means to search for Zordon at a must faster rate. It soon detects the ship that Zordon was last seen on, but Ecliptor and Darkonda destroy the scanner before DECA can get the coordinates.
- Human Popsicle: Cassie, Ashley, and Carlos all end up frozen by Darkliptor.
- Identity Amnesia: After a nasty blow to the head, T.J. doesn't even know his own name and can't believe he's a Power Ranger.
- No Ontological Inertia: As soon as Andros and T.J. defeat Darkliptor, separating the two back into Darkonda and Ecliptor, the ice trapping Carlos, Cassie, and Ashley immediately melts, freeing them.
- Parental Substitute: Astronema says that Ecliptor has been watching after her since she was a child.
- Pragmatic Villainy:
- Darkliptor refuses to let the three captured Rangers be destroyed on the grounds that they're the best way to ensure Andros and T.J. leave the safety of the Megaship.
- Taking the Finishing Move leaves Ecliptor a damaged mess. Darkonda only takes him back to the Dark Fortress because doing so will make him look good to Astronema.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: Quite literally after Darkliptor freezes both Ashley and Cassie.T.J.: No, Andros! We gotta think this through!
Andros: I'm done thinking! - Taking the Bullet: Fighting the Astro Delta Megazord, Darkliptor defuses at the last moment so that Darkonda can force Ecliptor to take the brunt of the Flying Power Punch.
- This Cannot Be!: Darkonda's reaction to Andros and T.J. managing to beat and defuse the Darkliptor form.
- We Will Meet Again: Darkonda promises to settle up with the Rangers next time.
- Xanatos Gambit: Darkonda knows Ecliptor can't simply confess the Dark Secret to Astronema without being cast out, too, so he can happily blackmail him into doing dirty work. He also knows that Ecliptor trying to silence him will enrage Astronema.
