And That's Terrible: When asked who Team Aqua is, Brock somewhat unnecessarily explains to "Millie" that they're crooks who want to do evil things.
Antagonist Title: The German name for this episode roughly translates into "The Man With the 1,000 Faces", a nickname for Brodie. Also acts as a Spoiler Title because he doesn't reveal himself until the end.
The Bad Guy Wins: Brodie manages to successfully fool everyone and make off with the institute's Legendary Pokémon data.
Evil vs. Evil: Team Rocket, Team Aqua, and Team Magma all want to raid the weather institute for their own plans, and the heroes are stuck in the middle. Ultimately, Team Magma comes out on top.
Foreshadowing: Brock's failed initial attempt at flirting with Millie is the earliest hint we get that she isn't who she appears to be.
MacGuffin: The data key card, which grants access to the institute's research on Legendary Pokémon, is what everyone's after (sans Team Rocket, who are more interested in the satellite).
Master of Disguise: This is the main schtick of Team Magma member Brodie. Fittingly, his partner Pokémon is a Ditto.
Never Say "Die": While the word isn't used, Shelly threatens to freeze the heroes with a blizzard or bombard them with tornadoes if they don't give her the access card, which makes it fairly clear that she's willing to kill or at least seriously hurt them.
O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Brock, for reasons even he can't explain, stops himself from flirting with Millie at first sight. It's later revealed that "Millie" was actually a male mercenary disguised as her; when the real Millie shows up later, it's business as usual for Brock.
