On the last day before their cruise lands, the main group prepares to depart to Hoof Town, but an incoming storm complicates the task.
- Deserted Island: A storm causes the vessel to crash into a deserted "island", which is more akin to a collection of lagoons.
- Interspecies Friendship: Spike befriends the five Seapent on the island, which proves useful when he asks them to calm their mother down, saving everyone in the process.
- Mama Bear: The Leviapent is the evolved form of Seapent, whom it takes care of as her children. When it believes that the tourists are going to harm her offspring, it turns hostile and forces the main group to fight it off.
- Monster Is a Mommy: The Leviapant only turns aggressive when it believes its Seapent are being harmed. When the confusion is resolved, the Leviapant is happy to haul the boat and the tourists back to the mainland.
- Took a Level in Badass: Prongs' Tackle attack evolves into Body Slam during the double battle in the beginning of the chapter.
