"I want to meet you again, Suicune. I want you to be able to believe in people once again."
—Eusine
Eusine is looking for Suicune, one of three Pokémon that was resurrected by the legendary Ho-Oh many years before, only to be scared off by fearful humans.
Tropes:
- Came Back Strong: It's not clear what Pokémon Suicune, Entei, and Raikou were before the resurrection, but nevertheless they were revived far stronger than they were in their original forms.
- Continuity Cavalcade: This episode recalls events in Pokémon Crystal revolving around Ecruteak City's Burned Tower. The only Johto-era Pokémon depicted besides the Legendary Beasts, however, are Hoppip and Stantler.
- Flash Step: Suicune leaves this way a couple of seconds after Eusine catches sight of it, with some blue vapor being the only sign that it was standing there.
- Humans Are Morons: Human reaction to the resurrected Pokémon is typically dumb, panicky, and dangerous.
- Mass Resurrection: Ho-Oh came down to revive three Pokémon killed in a fire: Suicune, Entei, and Raikou.
