"After all the delays and intervention of fate, the day is here! The Plastic Addict takes on the one true Gimmickformer, a single toy with enough gimmicks for an entire wave of Transformers! But you know, maybe he's another Smokescreen and he'll have a mini figure that makes up for it, right? ...right?"

Tropes
- Awesome, yet Impractical: Sideswipe is filled to the brim with gimmicks... and therein lies the problem. He has so many gimmicks the only part of his body unhindered by them is the head.
- Bigger Is Better: Initially inverted. Unlike Sideswipe, TJ is actually impressed with the Mini-Con, Nightbeat, in his vehicle mode - a chopper. As such, he believes Nightbeat will ultimately make the set worthwhile. Then he gets to robot mode...
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: In this episode, he gets into an argument with the opening sequence. In the end, he fires it.
- Tempting Fate: After TJ's impressions of Nightbeat's vehicle mode:TJ: "Maybe this is Liftor No. 2. Okay, let's take a look at the robot mode."
- Worst. Whatever. Ever!: TJ labels Sideswipe the worst toy of the Armada range - and if you know his thoughts on the line as a whole, that's not a good thing.
