Princess Twilight arrives and, although she does laugh at him a bit, unsticks Pound's potty. Then, they both go on their merry way and Pound tries to tell Pumpkin off but doesn't get a chance to until nighttime.
That night, Pound tells her off and threatens to do the same to her as revenge, even though, as she points out, he can't do magic, or flush her down the toilet. She apologises, not wanting to risk those things, and he suggests intentionally using her diaper... in her sleep, somehow. Then, both fall asleep.
The next morning, Mrs. Cake wakes up the twins but then her stomach makes funny noises, she puts a hoof to it, and she freezes up. The twins immediately notice this and are concerned— while Mrs. Cake, and grown ponies in general, often do things they don't understand, they've never seen her do this before, so they decide to see what's going on by deliberately acting worried.
She reassures them that she's fine but "needs to tend to something", then dashes out of the nursery. The twins are now worried— is their mother sick? Or did she just forget something important? Then, they hear a noise like a strange device and Mrs. Cake speaking. They go out to investigate... but not before Pound messes his diaper, much to Pumpkin's disdain.
Once Pound has been changed, the twins go out and find out the noise is coming from the parents' bedroom. They find Mrs. Cake on the toilet in her and Mr. Cake's own bathroom, reading the news. It turns out that the noise is an air freshener device. She's very surprised and finishes up on the toilet.
This chapter provides examples of
- Artistic License – Biology: Unless the person is suffering from a bad stomach, the need to poop shouldn't come on suddenly like it did for Mrs. Cake.
- Bring My Brown Pants: Apparently, Mrs. Cake was backed up and the shock helped her poop.
- The Diaper Change: Before the twins investigate, Pound gets his diaper changed.
- Diaper Check: Mrs. Cake checks the twins' diapers in the morning.
- Fainting: Not really, but Mrs. Cake is said to have almost lost consicousness.
- Fun with Flushing: Discussed when Pound threatens to flush Pumpkin down the toilet.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: The twins are immediately concerned when they see their mother acting in a way they've never seen before. Truth in Television, young children are often made nervous by familiar people behaving erratically.
- Potty Emergency: Mrs. Cake's need to poop seems to be bad judging by her frantic behaviour.
- Rouge Angles of Satin: "Tired" is misspelled as "tried" at one point.
- Shout-Out: The title of this chapter references Everyone Poops.
