This chapter begins with Scootaloo frustrated at having to foalsit the twins because she got in trouble due to a "slip of the tongue". She is glad that they're being potty trained, don't fly and use magic as often as they used to, and Pinkie Pie is always there to help, but frustrated that Pound is a better flyer than her.
Then, it's revealed how Scootaloo got in trouble: the Cutie Mark Crusaders were talking about their weird "clients" and adults' weird behaviour in general. Scootaloo brought up her parents' antics, namely her mother embarrasses her by doting on her. Sweetie Belle mentions that her and Rarity's mother is a bad cook, then Mrs. Cake comes over and sells them milkshakes.
They mention how it's nice not to worry about cutie marks anymore, and Scootaloo mentions that her mother is a worrywart. Sweetie Belle says that Rarity is usually a good big sister but makes a fuss if Sweetie Belle gets dirty, and Scootaloo says that she's glad Rarity isn't her big sister or she'll end up peeved with her within a week. This shocks everyone, since "peeved" is a swear word in Equestria. Sweetie Belle adds that if she swore, Rarity would call her a potty mouth.
Pumpkin overhears and asks Pound what a potty mouth is. He doesn't know, but has heard it before, and Pumpkin wonders if it means a talking potty. Pound adds that he's more curious about what "peeved" means and they wonder if it's a fancy word for "pee". Then again, why would Scootaloo be talking about pee?
Mrs. Cake serves the milkshakes and the twins ask what "peeved" means. She is shocked and tells them that it is a bad word and not to use it again, then upon hearing they learnt it from Scootaloo, goes over and tells her off. Scootaloo begs Mrs. Cake not to tell her mother, so Mrs. Cake gives out the foalsitting task as a punishment.
Back in the present, the twins apologise for getting Scootaloo in trouble and ask what a potty mouth is. She tells them that it is somepony who says bad words a lot. When the twins ask for the origin of the phrase, Scootaloo says that she doesn't know, but perhaps since some bad words are for bodily wastes, it's like their mouths are a potty, grossing the twins out.
