Pound is understandably worried after accidentally flushing Pumpkin. He looks around, notices that the toilet is clogged, and decides that her pull-up must have slipped off and clogged the toilet. He hears her crying for help and considers getting the adults' help, but decides not to for fear of getting a spanking.
He sees a plunger and, remembering how his mother once used a plunger to stop strange noises in the bathroom, decides to use it. He struggles to free the plunger as Pumpkin is in danger of being sent to the sewers, and eventually he gets the plunger and begins plunging.
He fishes out the pull-up and Pumpkin climbs up, then it turns out that Pound needs a new diaper. Pumpkin gets some wipes, a diaper, and a pull-up so they can both be cleaned up, and decides to keep the whole ordeal a secret.
This chapter provides examples of
- Bring My Brown Pants: Pumpkin mentions that she would have used her pull-up in fear if it weren't for the fact that she'd already used her potty, so she didn't. Pound does end up needing a new diaper, but that was not because of fear.
- Damsel in Distress: Pumpkin is trapped in the pipes and in need of rescue for most of the chapter.
- Don't Make Me Take My Belt Off!: Defied when Pound doesn't tell the adults about having flushed his sister for fear of getting spanked.
