The episode contains examples of:
- 11th-Hour Superpower: Gazef is given the armor and weapons from the royal family to fight off Ainz. However, that power is minuscule compared to the latter.
- Eldritch Abomination: The Dark Young are massive goats with mouths and tentacles
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: After seeing one Dark Young coming back to them, all of the Emperor's men except that one commander flee. It's bad as some of them got trampled to death by their own comrades.
- Too Dumb to Live: The jerk noble who ordered his entire wing to attack Ainz, who kills them in response.
- Too Powerful to Live: Marquis Raeven believes this about Ainz, who can tear the New World to pieces if he chose to or unintentionally did so.
- Wham Line: Nimble reluctantly praises Ainz's spell causing Ainz to laugh in response because it is revealed that's not the spell.....It's FUEL for the spell.
- You Monster!: Nimble calls out on Ainz if he is actually a man or a demon. Ainz's answer is the real clincher.Ainz: Make no mistake, I am undead; that is all.
- You Shall Not Pass!:
- Raeven's ex-adventurers stayed behind to fight off the Dark Young and allow him to escape. They didn't last long.
- Gazef does this too, with little to show for it.
