This MMBC provides examples of:
- And Now for Someone Completely Different: The end of Episode 3 cuts first to Jackie Levin walking to a graveyard with a pseudo-friend from another project entirely, and then to Prax Freitas and Noe Hara (previously featured in Collins) in that same graveyard.
- Came Back Wrong: Jane Doe. Actually Prosecco Arsenic from the previous Ostkaka MMBC - the amount of effort it took for her sister to bring her back took its toll for sure.
- Expy: Edward and Miriam Riesling are this for a couple of Cookie Run characters.
- Parental Neglect: Linden Lace and Meringue Ostkaka were not the most attentive parents. The only reason they are trying to help the latter now is, well...
- Scatterbrained Senior: Played for Drama. Him being gripped by the illness is the only time he seems to remember his children with any kind of fondness.
- Sibling Rivalry: Pride and Moscow, of course, but also Edward and Miriam, and Gillyflower and Sol Lupin.
- Sibling Yin-Yang: All of the above; comes with the territory. Sapphire and Peony Anemone are this as well, despite genetically being second cousins.
- Wham Shot / Wham Line:"You."
- Year Inside, Hour Outside: Meta-example with Doireann's Character Blog. Jovi helped Doireann start a Tumblr in early May 2018 in real time, and the latter discovered the 'beach box' in late May 2018. All of this is compressed down to a matter of hours if not minutes in the actual Episode 5 of the project.
- You No Take Candle: Doireann Carroll - expected, being that Doireann is a Dobhar Chu and a cryptid. Doireann has grown somewhat more articular over time, even learning big words like 'telemarketer'!
