Dolly's best friend Roxy gets a crush on Dylan.
This episode features examples of:
- Abhorrent Admirer: Roxy is this to Dylan, at least at first. Her size and sharp teeth terrifies him.
- Birds of a Feather: Dylan starts coming around to Roxy when he realises she's as caring of the pups and into Poodlewolf and astronomy as he is.
- Clingy Jealous Girl: Non-romantic example. Dolly gets extremely jealous when her best friend Roxy strikes up a friendship with Dylan.
- Friend Versus Lover: A one-sided version. When Roxy and Dylan start getting closer, Dolly gets jealous that Roxy isn't giving her as much attention anymore.
- Gibberish of Love: When Roxy first sees Dylan, she can only gibber incoherently at him.
- Has a Type: In the end, when Roxy stops seeing Dylan, she starts getting interested in another thin, nervous-looking dog instead, which Snowball lampshades.
- Inelegant Blubbering: Roxy does this when she thinks Dylan doesn't like her.
- Jabba Table Manners: Roxy eats all of her food in seconds in this fashion.
- Love at First Sight: This is Roxy's reaction when she sees Dylan.
- Never My Fault: Dolly gets jealous of Dylan and Roxy, entirely forgetting the fact she set the two up in the first place.
- Puppy-Dog Eyes: Roxy does this to get Dolly to take her on a sleepover so she can meet Dylan.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Dolly's eyes start flashing red and orange when she goes into a jealous rage over Roxy.
- Single Woman Seeks Good Man: One of the things Roxy likes about Dylan is how nice he is and how he always worries for everybody.
