When Peso gets stranded on a beach after a big storm with a whole group of Yellow Belly Sea Snakes, the rest of the Octonauts has the mission to get them back in the water and help their friend, who got injured during the storm.
The episode has the following tropes:
- Continuity Nod: This is the second time Peso has been caught in a storm.
- Delayed "Oh, Crap!": While trying to help Simone, Peso doesn't realize that the storm is picking up speed until the current sweeps him, Simone, and the other sea snakes away.
- Determined Doctor: Peso is stranded on a beach, doesn't know where he is exactly, a for more trouble, one of his flippers is broken, being unable to move because the sea snakes are also covering him. Still, the most important situation for him is the Sea snakes who are also stranded with him, rather than his own pain because of the limb fracture.
- Epic Fail: When Peso tries to wave goodbye to Simone, he forgot that the flipper he's waving with is broken, and you know what that means...
- Eye Cam: After getting knocked out in the storm, Peso's point of view can be seen before waking up. Doubles as an Impairment Shot.

- When Peso tries to help Simone, he doesn't notice that the current is starting to pick up.
- When Peso somehow breaks his flipper, he sometimes forgets that his flipper is broken whenever he tries to move it.
- Funny Background Event: While the makeshift pool is getting filled up, one of the Vegimals went flying in the background.
- Impairment Shot: This happens to Peso before he wakes up to find that he's on an island.
- Injured Limb Episode: Peso injures his flipper when he got caught in a storm while trying to help Simone.
- Late to the Realization: When Peso tries to help Simone with her splinter, he doesn't realize that the storm arrived.

- Major Injury Underreaction: When someone hurts or breaks a limb, after the state of shock, you just feel pain, sometimes it's hard to talk, or makes you dizzy, especially when it's a broken arm. With Peso, however (mostly to not scare the younger audience) he doesn't react that badly. He is able to speak and direct Barnacles and Kwazii to bandage his flipper. The only time he shows a painful expression is when he gets to move his arm with or without notice.
- Meaningful Background Event: As Peso tries to help Simone, if you look behind them, the current starts to pick up and a bunch of seaweed is seen being swept by the current.
- The Speechless: Dashi is the only octonaut who didn't speak in this episode.

- Wham Shot: Peso's broken flipper is shown after getting swept away in the storm.
