Go To

K.O. and T.K.O. decide to swap places for the day.

Tropes:

  • And I Must Scream: After going too far in his mischief and betraying K.O.'s trust, T.K.O. is banished into K.O.'s subconscious.
  • Big "NO!": T.K.O. after getting sent to K.O.'s subconscious.
  • Blipvert: Several times when T.K.O. hits something, there's Hit Flashes of childish crayon drawings of T.K.O.'s violent fantasies.
  • Contrast Montage: K.O. cleaning T.K.O.'s room is intercut with T.K.O. messing up the house.
  • Creative Closing Credits: A serious one where it shows a live-action footage of an elevator closing with a Solemn Ending Theme playing over it
  • Downer Ending: K.O. decides that he can't trust T.K.O. anymore after he trashed his house, and locks him up in his subconscious.
  • Hidden Depths: K.O. reads Carl Jung apparently.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: The One Cookie rule WAS arbitrary and unfair and TKO wasn't wrong to question. Doesn't justify everything else he did.
  • Reformed, but Not Tamed: Despite T.K.O. allying himself with K.O., he shows himself to still be very destructive and willing to take advantage of his other half. K.O. ultimately decides he's more trouble than he's worth, and so locks him back up.
  • Tempting Cookie Jar: K.O. is only allowed one cookie a day, so when Carol leaves, he is tempted to take another one. When T.K.O. takes over, the first thing he does is take the jar and pour all the cookies into his mouth. When K.O. confesses what happened at the end, Carol agrees to give him a second cookie if he asks for one.
  • Uncomfortable Elevator Moment: T.K.O. and K.O. have a moment of silence before the latter explains the elevator they're taking leads to K.O. subconscious.
  • Wham Episode: At the end of the episode, K.O. invites T.K.O. into an elevator with him and then reveals that he plans on trapping T.K.O. in his subconscious by shoving him in there, leaving a single cookie, and absconding.
