Go To

Dendy tries to update K.O.'s Video Channel for him, but has trouble finding something to post.

Tropes:

  • And This Is for...: The Boxmore robots when fighting T.K.O.
Boxbot Prime: That was for Jethro!
    Shannon: And Boxman, Jr.!
    Darrell: No, just Jethro.
Boxbot Prime: And this is for all of us! And this is for kicking us out of our home! AND THIS! IS! FOR! DADDY!
  • Bittersweet Ending: Boxman has disappeared, and T.K.O. is still with Shadowy Venomous. However, their spree of chaos and destruction has been stopped, the Boxmore bots are now heroes (or at the very least no longer want to attack the Plaza, and are helping to repair and defend it), and Dendy finally gets to post a positive video on K.O.'s video channel.
  • Boss Subtitles:
  • Call-Back:
    • To "We're Captured"; see Meaningful Echo below.
    • When Boxman tries to pull a Get Out! on Shadowy Venomous and T.K.O., Shadowy reminds him that he/Venomous is actually the real owner of Boxmore after buying out the company in "Boxman Crashes", forcing Boxman to leave instead.
    • As Dendy prepares to fight T.K.O., she once again conjures the K.O.-shaped exoskeleton that she used to defeat Ernesto in "OK Dendy! Let's Be K.O.!"
    • When Shadowy Venomous urges T.K.O. not to hesitate in attacking Dendy, he brings up how Dendy experimented on K.O. to bring out T.K.O. in "Mystery Science Fair 201X".note
    • Dendy tries to talk T.K.O. down by saying "You are loved and appreciated", as she did in "You're in Control". This time, however, it fails, and T.K.O. easily defeats her.
  • Combining Mecha: The Boxmore robots combine into Boxbot Prime to fight T.K.O.
  • Creative Closing Credits : The credits show what happened to Lord Boxman after he left his robot henchmen and company when he encounters a group of Jethros, led by Jethro 2.0.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle:
    • T.K.O. and Shadowy Venomous do this to everyone in their chaotic rampages throughout the world.
    • When Dendy faces off against T.K.O., she forms a Hard Light exoskeleton around herself, but tries to talk him down as opposed to fighting him. It doesn't work, and he defeats her (shattering both the exoskeleton and her backpack computer that generated it) and knocks her out in one hit.
    • The Boxmore robots return the favor as Boxbot Prime and easily lay the smackdown on T.K.O.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Boxman enjoys the "back and forth of classic villainy"; the unrestrained pain and destruction that T.K.O. and Shadowy Venomous are wreaking on the world is far too much for him. As he himself once said, and repeats here, he's a villain, not a monster. He also is clearly unhappy at how Shadowy Venomous has been neglecting him, Fink, and all of Boxmore in the process.
  • Foreshadowing: After Dendy's video at the end, the "next video loading" is one called "RUMOR: Plaza Tournament Incoming?!". The Plaza Tournament indeed ends up taking place in the following episode.
  • Get Out!: Boxman finally has enough of what Shadowy Venomous has been doing and tries to kick him out of Boxmore. Unfortunately for him, Professor Venomous is the primary shareholder of Boxmore after buying out the company back in Season 2, and as such, Shadowy Venomous immediately turns this around on Boxman and kicks him out instead.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Boxman tries to kick Shadowy Venomous and T.K.O. out of Boxmore, but, as Shadowy promptly points out, he doesn't actually have a legal right to do this because Professor Venomous has technically been the true owner of Boxmore since buying it out back in "Boxman Crashes". Functionally, this didn't really matter up until now since Boxman and Venomous were in a relationship and co-ran the company together, but since Boxman is breaking up with (Shadowy) Venomous here, it means he no longer has the right to reside on the property, and he's the one who's forced to leave.
  • Innocently Insensitive: Dendy attempts to cheer Carol up by doing an impression of K.O., but this just ends up making her more upset by reminding her of the sweet boy she's lost.
  • Meaningful Echo: Back in "We're Captured" (which, funny enough, was Professor Venomous's debut episode), Boxman told K.O. "I'm a villain, not a monster" to make it clear that Even Evil Has Standards. Now, when expressing his unhappiness to Shadowy Venomous about the things the latter has been doing, he repeats this sentence for the same reason.
  • Ocular Gushers:
    • Enid and Rad cry these after reminiscing about K.O.
    • The Boxmore robots do this after being abandoned by Boxman and feeling that they have no purpose with the Plaza already destroyed.
  • Parent-Child Team: Shadowy Venomous and T.K.O. have formed a full-fledged one as a result of their Villain Team-Up, frequently going out on rampages together around the world and attacking innocent people in the process.
  • The Power of Friendship and Love: Dendy notes that this was always K.O.'s true power, using this (even quoting the trope name word-for-word) to bring people together. The Boxmore robots similarly use their sibling love for each other to form a Combining Mecha to defeat T.K.O.
  • Portmanteau: The initial name for Boxbot Prime is this, combining the names of Ernesto, Shannon, Darrell, Mikayla, and Raymond to make "Ersharreyland", before crossing it out and just going with "Boxbot Prime" instead.
  • Punctuated! For! Emphasis!:
Boxman: Hey. I...am a villain. Not. A. Monster. I'm going to have to ask you to leave...the premises.
Boxbot Prime: AND THIS! IS! FOR! DADDY!
  • Swapped Roles: Most of the series had K.O. helping defend the Plaza against Lord Boxman and his robots. This episode ends with Dendy recruiting the Boxmore robots to defend the Plaza against K.O.'s Superpowered Evil Side.
  • Triumphant Reprise: A non-musical example. The "kids cheering" Stock Sound Effect that often plays when Dendy makes her first appearance in an episode does not do so here, but instead plays at the very end as she finishes posting her positive video on K.O.'s video channel.
  • Villainous Rescue: Downplayed, but after Dendy is defeated and knocked unconscious by T.K.O., the Boxmore robots move her behind the Bodega and revive her.
  • Who's Laughing Now?: The Boxmore robots have spent the whole series getting beaten up countless times by K.O. or T.K.O. Even in this episode, Shadowy Venomous and T.K.O. remorselessly kick them and their "daddy" out of their home, laughing all the way, and also mockingly laugh at how ridiculous the robots look after combining into Boxbot Prime. Their laughter doesn't last long before Boxbot Prime lays a smackdown on T.K.O.
